ABOUT MYSELF

Ethan Hood is a director based out of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He got his start at directing in high school, as a project for one of his film classes. He came to Louisiana State University (LSU) with the goal of graduating with a degree in film.

He has made the effort to learn almost every department of filmmaking, so that he can have a more fleshed-out vision when crafting stories. When not directing, he prefers to be the in the Grip and Electric departments.

Between the start of college and the end, he had also fallen in love with theatre. He graduated from LSU in May 2026 with both a BFA in Film & Television, and a BA in Theatre Tech & Design.

Ethan plans to stay in Baton Rouge and be an Assistant Director on many theatrical plays, as well as support local film sets in whatever capacity is needed.
